Info

We are an interdisciplinary research group working at the Biodesign Institute at Arizona State University. We are affiliated with the Center for Biological Physics, Center for Molecular Design and Biomimetics, and Center for Biocomputing, Security and Society. We also supervise a research group in Bioscience Department at TU Munich. We employ methods of statistical mechanics and molecular simulation to study DNA and RNA with particular focus on DNA and RNA nanotechnology. Our research projects span both theoretical and experimental endeavor and involve tool development, high performance computing, machine learning and experimental characterization of nanosystems designed in silico.

Join

We provide research opportunities for motivated undergraduate/graduate students. If you are interested in any of our research topics, do not hesitate to contact us to inquire about currently available research projects. Students and postdocs working in our group typically come from physics, bioengineering, chemistry, or computer science backgrounds.
